Cows arrive to help boost local milk production

The struggling dairy industry is finally set to experience a boost.

The pregnant heifers needed to help increase local milk production arrived from Canada on Atlas Air around 9:19 a.m. at the Grantley Adams International Airport.

Officials are currently engaged offloading the animals. The cows will be micro chipped and distributed to farmers, who will quarantine them on their farms.
