Crime prevention minister Lane ‘assisting police inquiry’

Minister in the Office of the Attorney General with responsibility for Crime Prevention Corey Lane visited the District ‘D’Police Station on Tuesday evening to reportedly aid in an investigation into an undisclosed “matter’’. The minister was observed arriving at the station accompanied by attorney-at-law Michael Lashley SC.

The nature of the inquiry and the specific reason for Lane’s presence at the police station remain unclear. Neither the minister nor his counsel have made any public statements regarding the visit at this time. (BT)
