2 men charged with murder of O’brian Dixon

Police have arrested and formally charged Shamar Makhail Massiah-Toby, 35, of Blackman Road, Maxwell, Christ Church and Antonio Desmond Lewis, 33, of Harmony Hall, St Lawrence, Christ Church for the following offences whilst at Bamboo Road, St. Lawrence, Christ Church:

  • Murder of O’brian Dixon on Thursday, February 20.
  • Violent Disorder on Thursday, February 20.

Meanwhile, Toby has also been charged with the following, which occurred on February 20: 

  • Possession of firearm.
  • Endangering the life of Maxine Leacock.
  • Endangering the life of Dwayne Lewis.

 They appeared before Magistrate Manilla Renee in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on Saturday. They have been remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds) until Friday, March 28.
