One-way traffic as MTW paints pedestrian crossings on Highway 7

The road marking crew of the Ministry of Transport and Works (MTW) will repaint pedestrian crossings along Highway 7 in Christ Church from Monday, April 14, to Thursday, April 17, 2025, between 7:30 p.m. and 4 a.m. each night.

On Monday and Tuesday, the team will begin to work from the bottom of Rendezvous Hill and progress south towards Top Rock. When this section is completed, the crew will work from the Top Rock Roundabout to Oistins. It is anticipated work on the latter section will be done on Wednesday and Thursday.

Residents, road users, and businesses are advised that the Road Marking crew will work in one lane at a time, therefore one-way traffic will be in effect. Only emergency vehicles and Public Service Vehicles will be given two-way access. Motorists are asked to drive cautiously as workmen will be operating within the roadway.

MTW apologises for the inconvenience caused, and thanks persons for their patience and cooperation.
