Duo remanded on gun, ammo charges

Two men in their twenties are now on remand at Dodds Prison, accused of illegally having a gun and ammunition earlier this month.

Ayeko Adrian Alleyne, a 23-year-old tiler, of McClean Road, Silver Sands, Christ Church and Tahshawn Rashad Smith, a 24-year-old freighter, of Portvale Road, Sayers Court, in the same parish, were taken before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes on Monday, accused of possessing a firearm without a valid licence and six bullets without a valid permit, on May 7.

The two were not required to plead to the indictable charges.

Magistrate Weekes remanded the duo to prison until June 6.
