(GP) A collaborative effort by teachers, parents, and support staff at Grazettes Primary School to ensure every student gets breakfast is being supported with a $4 000 fill-up from RUBIS. The donation to the school’s breakfast programme is part of RUBIS’ ongoing effort to fulfil its corporate social responsibility by investing in the well-being of young learners. Some of the funds will also be used to meet other important needs of students who require support. Mellissa Broomes, brand marketing specialist, stated that RUBIS was delighted to positively impact communities and young people. “It’s an honour to contribute to the Grazettes Primary School breakfast programme and to play a part in an initiative so lovingly managed by the school’s dedicated staff. Together, we can help make a positive difference in the lives of these young students.” Team RUBIS was also proud to have provided school supplies, Broomes said, including lunch bags, exercise books, pencil cases and pencils. “Investing in education is investing in the future, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to make a difference,” she said.
