Escaped prisoner recaptured after two months on the run

After being on the run for over two months, escaped prisoner Kishon Lemar Anderson Thomas is back behind bars.

The 26-year-old, also known as “Pappy”, “Paps” or “Tom”, had escaped lawful custody while at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. At the time, he was an inmate at Dodds Prison.

According to the Barbados Police Service (TBPS), Thomas — who was the subject of a “Wanted Man” bulletin issued on May 2 — was taken into custody on Saturday and is currently assisting with investigations.

The TBPS has thanked the general public and the media for their assistance in this matter. (PR/BT)
