Motorcycle crash claims life of 28-year-old

A 28-year-old motorcyclist is Barbados’ latest road fatality.

Police say Cadeem Clark, of Wotton Terrace, Christ Church, died after the motorcycle he was riding veered off the road on Saturday night and struck a utility pole along Gall Hill road, Christ Church.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the accident occurred around 9:20 p.m. as Clarke was travelling in the direction of Oistins.

He sustained multiple injuries to which he succumbed and was pronounced dead at the scene by a medical doctor. A relative later officially identified the deceased.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact the Oistins Police Station on 418-2612 or 418-2606.
