Man hospitalised following Eden Lodge shooting

One man is hospitalised following a shooting incident which occurred along Boundary Lane, Eden Lodge, St. Michael, on Wednesday night.

According to police report, about 10 o clock last night, a group of persons were congregated outside of a residence in the area watching a sporting event, when a motor car approached. The occupants of the motor car discharged a number of gunshots, before driving away from the gathering.

One male received injuries and was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance personnel, where he is currently receiving medical treatment. Investigations are continuing into this matter.
