St Philip resident dies after altercation

A 30-year-old man was killed on Saturday evening following a dispute at a residence in Work Hall, St Philip.

Initial police investigations reveal that the man, identified by a relative as Damon Corbin of Work Hall, was injured during the altercation that occurred sometime before 7:15 p.m. He reportedly left the residence but collapsed a short distance away.

Emergency medical personnel responded but found no signs of life. A doctor later visited the scene and officially pronounced death.

Officers from the District “C” Police Station are continuing investigations into what has been classified as an unnatural death.
