32-year-old Christ Church woman to answer cannabis charges today

A 32-year-old woman of Charnocks Land, Christ Church, is expected to answer to multiple drug-related charges today after being arrested by the police’s Narcotics Unit.

Shanece Alicia Atkinson is charged with possession of cannabis, trafficking, intent to supply and importation of cannabis in connection with an incident on December 8.

Police said the total estimated weight of the suspected cannabis is 2.5 kilogrammes, with an estimated street value of $40,000.

Atkinson is scheduled to appear in the District ‘B’ Magistrates’ Court today.
