Law enforcement probe after weapons and ammunition seized

Police are continuing investigations after firearms and ammunition were seized during an operation in Christ Church a week ago.

Members of the Barbados Police Service Tactical Response Unit and the Barbados Defence Force, attached to Operation Broken Trident, conducted the operation at Brownes Gap, Sargeants Village, Christ Church, around 3 p.m. on January 24.

During the exercise, officers discovered two rifles, two pistols and 100 rounds of ammunition hidden in a bushy area. (PR/BT)
