Man fatally stabbed in Black Rock

Police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man at a residence in Bridge Gap, Black Rock, St Michael, early Monday morning.

Officers from the Black Rock Police Station responded to a report around 2:25 a.m. from a female caller who stated that a man had been stabbed at her home. Upon arrival, police discovered the lifeless body of the male inside the house.

Preliminary investigations indicate that a dispute between the man and a woman resulted in the male receiving stab wounds. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

A medical doctor later visited and pronounced death.
