Probe underway after man dies in sea collision off Holetown

Police are investigating the death of a man following a collision between a vessel and a snorkeler off Holetown Beach in St James on Saturday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 12:45 pm on June 13, according to police.
Officers said initial investigations indicate that a Barbadian-registered vessel was travelling from Bridgetown towards Speightstown when the collision took place involving a male snorkeler in the area.
Emergency services were called to the scene and the man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where he later died.
Investigators at Holetown Station are appealing for anyone with information to contact 419-1700 or 419-1701.
