The world’s celebrated luxury champagne brand, Armand de Brignac, distributed in Barbados by Mount Gay Distilleries Limited, was the toast of New York recently when music mogul Jay-Z topped off his 40/40 club renovation with a breathtaking floor-to-ceiling Armand de Brignac Gold Champagne Tower in time for an exclusive fund-raiser for US President Barack Obama.
In completing the US $10 million renovation of his 40/40 club Jay-Z gave the world’s leading bubbly his stamp of approval by including the impressive tower constructed from 350 golden bottles of the celebrated champagne popularly known as Ace of Spades because of the bottle’s trademark insignia.
The sophisticated event also publicly demonstrated Jay-Z’s approval of Obama’s presidential campaign, while the beautiful Armand de Brignac tower also served as a conversation piece for guests joining Jay-Z and wife Beyonce in hosting US President Barrack Obama and his wife Michelle.
Commenting on the high profile endorsement of Armand de Brignac, Rameses Browne, Wine & Champagne Specialist with Mount Gay Distilleries Limited, said it was clear that Jay-Z, an entertainment king in his own right, was making a statement by constructing a golden tower fit for a king or a USA President and Armand de Brignac was clearly most fitting for the occasion.
“At Mount Gay Distilleries we are pleased to continue supplying this outstanding luxury champagne to Barbadian consumers who now have the opportunity to celebrate and associate with the very best to be found anywhere in the world. ”
“Traditionally when entertaining kings or queens, hosts have always gone to great lengths for the most valuable and finest materials to create really exclusive settings; and while we are not surprised, we are pleased to see that Armand De Brignac was chosen to construct this magnificent tower to adorn club 40/40 on the occasion of the fund-raiser for US President Obama. A further plus is that added to Jay-Z, stars of the calibre of our own Rihanna, David Beckham, George Clooney, and Kim Kardashian have all approved this product.”
Appointed as distributor of Armand de Brignac in Barbados in 2011, beginning with three varieties of the multi-vintage brand, Mount Gay Distilleries has been enjoying a rave reception locally to the ultra-premium champagne, buoyed by its outstanding international reputation and association with excellence in the international music industry.
