Converse Inc., through its licensee, Superior International Inc., will launch its first Converse specialty store in Barbados on Thursday at Norman Centre on Broad Street, Bridgetown.
The store will feature the latest Converse collections in shoes, clothing, and accessories and will adopt the store format created for other Converse stores throughout the world.
Dedicated to unleashing the creative spirit of all, the Converse store in Barbados, with more than 2,000 square feet of exhibition space, will tell the story of the brand through artwork and specialty walls featuring classic models such as the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star and the new and innovative models Remix and Reform, in addition to premium models such as Jack Purcell’s LTT, and Converse by John Varvatos.
To celebrate the opening of the Converse store, many surprises are planned for the attendees, including special prizes and giveaways for the first customers, in store celebrity appearances by Li’l Rick, Cover Drive, Peter Ram and many more, as well as Dj music, which will be featured throughout the weekend.
Built on heritage, the Converse brand continues to expand in the Caribbean by opening its latest store in Barbados which will replicate the store format of Converse stores worldwide. Among the novelties that will be featured are a basketball scoreboard, wooden walls, and concrete floors. This combination makes the perfect match to tell the Converse store from the brand’s beginning to present day.
The brand new Converse store will also offer duty free incentives to shoppers.
