Police have arrested and charged wanted man Pedro Lamar Caddle with several counts of assault, burglary and arson.
The 30-year-old man of Bissex Housing Area, St. Joseph, has been charged with seven counts of assault, including attacking police officers; one count of criminal damage to a police vehicle and one count of arson.
He is also jointly charge with Leon Seymour Freeman, 19, of 1st Avenue Sealy Land, Bank Hall, St. Micheal, with two counts of aggravated burglary involving Canadian and American tourists at Tent Bay, St. Joseph; one count of assault occasioning bodily harm and one count of burglary.
Caddle and Freeman are expected to appear at the District “A” Magistrate Court tonorrow.
Additionally, Police Public Relations Officer Inspector David Welch reported that the force was now trying to locate 58-year-old Martin Burton of Hinds Hill, Cave Hill St. Michael.The man left the home of his sister Angela Burton-Scott of Risk Road, Fitts Village, St. James sometime shortly after 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 2 and has not returned. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a blue short sleeve shirt, a pair of blue long pants, a beige cap with the letter ‘H’ in silver to the front, and a pair of black reef slippers.
Burton who is about five feet five inches in height, is of slim build, dark complexion and has an oval face. He has protruding bottom teeth and his mouth is habitually opened. His hair is black and grey. He has a scar to the elbow area of his right arm; on the inner side of his left arm, he has a tattoo in the shape of a heart with the letters “MB” inside.
