A 24-year-old man has been charged in connection with the May 31 Nelson Street murder.
When Ravier Straker, an unemployed resident of Lightfoot Lane, The City, appeared in court today to answer the charge of the stabbing death of 40 year old John Baptiste while at Ronnie’s Bar, Nelson Street, Bridgetown, he was remanded to Dodds Prison in St. Philip. However, Straker has to be back in court on July 9. Straker, who was placed on the police wanted list after the incident, was caught yesterday in the Black Rock area. (EJ)
