Barbadians turned up at Simpson Motors on Thursday to get a close look at the all new Mitsubishi ASX, which was launched at the Warrens, St. Michael dealership.
Sales manager, Bruce Wilkie, explained that the mid-sized SUV, which arrived on island recently, was a welcome addition to the already impressive range of vehicle choices available at Simpson Motors.
“We are very excited to have the vehicle here in our showroom and ready to hit the Barbadian roads and we wanted to give our customers and the wider Barbadian public the opportunity to see firsthand what the Mitsubishi ASX offers.
“So today we hosted an open day for persons to come in for demos and test drives. The vehicle definitely won the hearts of many of those who attended with its eye-catching looks and outstanding performance.
“The ASX safety features, including its dual front, side, curtain and driver knee air bags and factory-installed reverse sensors also won favour with those test driving,” Wilkie revealed.
He added that the Mitsubishi ASX also comes with a number of other impressive features including the 2.0-litre, 16 valve DOHC MIVEC engine and the INVECS-III Continuously Variable Transmission with 6-step Sports Mode.
“This feature monitors road and driving conditions, as well as driving style, to create a smart profile that automatically anticipates the driver’s every move,” explained Wilkie.
Additional features include 17″ alloy wheels, automatic climate control, automatic rain and light sensors, fog lamps, roof rails and electrically operated windows and mirrors with auto folding function.
