A thanksgiving service for the life and work of the late Spiritual Baptist Leader Granville Williams will be held on Sunday, April 27 at the Sir Garfield Sobers Gymnasium, Wildey, at 10 a.m.
Earlier this evening it was also announced by his eldest son Archbishop Dr. Aaron Williams that the funeral services and interment will take place on Monday, April 28 at the Cathedral Church of Jerusalem, Ealing Grove, Christ Church.
Viewing of the body of the late patriarch takes place on Thursday, April 24 at Zion Apostolic Spiritual Baptist Temple, Richmond Gap, St. Michael and on Friday, April 25 at The Cathedral Church of Jerusalem. The process commences each day at at 9 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m.
In the meantime, Bishop Malcom Babb of Barbados, who is set to continue the work of the late Spiritual Baptist head, has expressed sincere thanks at the overflowing of well wishes and condolences received by the Sons of God Apostolic Spiritual Baptist Faith and its members to date.
Williams passed away on Sunday at age 90 after a prolonged illness.
In its release detailing the funeral arrangements, the Spiritual Baptist Church also remembered Williams “as truly a man of God, sent from God, who lived for the people and died for the people”.
