She won the Shell Ferrari Experience – an eight week long promotion under the auspices of by local Shell franchise holders Sol Petroleum.
At the prize-giving ceremony held at Shell Top Rock, Christ Service yesterday she admitted that she was shocked and overwhelmed when told that she had won the Shell Ferrari Experience.
“I also feel fantastic to know that I will be going overseas to Italy and visit the Ferrari factory”, she said after receiving the official notification from Sol Barbados’ marketing manager Kirk King.
Stuart recalled that she had tendered seven forms, but never thought that from all the thousand entries that she would have been the lucky person to have won it.
“I am still in shock, but I think that it is going to really sink in when I am on the plane. I am looking forward to sampling the food because you hear so much about Italian food and, of course, the shopping”, she explained.
Durant said she would be accompanied by her father Dalton Selman, who is also a Ferrari fan.
Marketing manager Kirk King, in congratulating the winner, said he was really proud to know that it Ferrari Experience was won by a loyal Shell V-Power customer and that the promotion went well.
“We are happy with the way things have gone over the past eight weeks and are looking forward to the new initiative involving our Shell Helix lubricants”, King added.
