If you weren’t at the Chum FM One Republic Concert last Thursday night, you definitely missed a quality show. Thousands turned out to the once-in-a-lifetime show to see the international band live at Holders House in St James.
The band did not disappoint. Its most popular hit with Bajans, Apologize, could be heard echoing across the grounds as everyone sang along.
When Bajan Vibes chatted with band members at their hotel before the show, they expressed their delight at being on the island.
“Barbados has been way more than we expected. We were out on the water for three or four hours at least just going up and down the coast. The vibe here is just amazing; it’s so chill, very relaxing. It’s not overdone; being out on the water it was incredible.
“We will definitely come back. We have grown quite fond of the island living. It’s beautiful here,” guitarist Zac said.
The guys told fans they could expect an album from the band very soon.
“We are currently recording an album and its going quite well. It should be out at the end of this year, into the beginning of next year. Then we will be back on the road on that album touring,” drummer Eddie said.
Here are some scenes from the show.
