A St George woman has to perform 160 hours of community service by August 21, when a report will be presented to acting Magistrate Alliston Seale on her progress.
Krystal Laverne Olivia Hinds, 23, of Ellerton, reappeared in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court today, after pleading guilty to having an offensive weapon on an earlier occasion.
Police saw Hinds holding a knife and making stabbing motions at a man in the Nursery Drive Terminal, last December 11.
She was arrested and charged for the offence.
The acting magistrate advised the young woman to not only complete the terms and conditions of the community service officer, Louis Linton, but also to be respectful to whomever is in charge of her at her assignment.
