The post mortem, which was scheduled to take place on the body of 12-year-old Shemar Weekes, has been delayed once again.
This time on account of a delay in finalising arrangements for a visiting forensic pathologist. Among the names being suggested is the Russian-born forensic pathologist, Dr Valery V. Alexandrov, who is based in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad.
New preparations were being made for the post mortem to be done after the Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s Clinical Pathologist Dr Stephen Jones abruptly halted the procedure yesterday.
It is now scheduled to take place on Thursday.
