A 23-year-old chef appeared in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court today before acting Magistrate Alliston Seale.
Alana Nikita Crystal Nearvay was not required to plead to the indictable charge of possession of an unlicensed firearm on April 20 this year.
The woman lives at Ashby Alley, the City.
The charge allegedly arose out of circumstances where a gun was seen on the ground at a funeral earlier this year.
Nearvay, who was represented by Dr Waldo Waldron-Ramsay Q.C., was remanded until June 24.
