It was billed as “One Awesome Day”.
And even intermittent rain showers could not dampen the spirits of scores of gospel lovers who gathered at Farley Hill National Park in St Peter for the climax of the Gospelfest 2015.
“No rain can stop this praise jam,” declared MC Imran Richards, as scores of patrons were seen dancing and worshipping under their umbrellas earlier this afternoon.
The praise party continued well into the evening, with deejays Pedro G and Special K keeping the crowd throughly entertained between performances.
By then Raphael Saul, Pasquin, as well as the group FLOW out of St Vincent and the Grenadines had performed.
The large crowd had also been blessed with the musical sounds of Cornell Jermaine of the United States, Esther Farinde out of the United Kingdom and Sherry Ann Maughan from Trinidad & Tobago, and were eagerly anticipating the day’s headliners Positive, Neesha Woodz and Sherwin Gardner.
