Police have made a breakthrough in their investigations into a series of burglaries along the west coast.
Two men from Deacons Farm, St Michael — 27-year-old Akeil Hezekiah Callender and 33-year-old Jamal Oneal Hurley — have been jointly charged with six counts of burglary.
Hurley was charged with an additional count, bringing his total to seven burglary charges. Police say the crimes occurred at beach and holiday villas along the west coast.
Callender and Hurley are expected to appear at the Holetown Magistrates Court today.
Police had previously circulated photos of the tattooed suspects.
“We take this opportunity to thank the public and the media for their invaluable assistance,” a police statement said today.
