Local construction giant JADA has launched a new subsidiary company, JADA Improvements.
It will focus on minor works, planned and reactive maintenance and renovations for both domestic and commercial clients.
Speaking during last Saturday’s official launch at Port Ferdinand, St Peter, the group’s Managing Director Philip Tempro said JADA, which has been operating here for the past 20 years, had come to realize that there was a lack of support for programmes such as minor works, maintenance and renovations in Barbados.
“It has become JADA’s goal to bring these programmes to the forefront by assembling a team of professionals fully equipped to meet their clients’ needs in these areas and save them money,” he told the gathering.
Tempro also stated that technology, such as mobile apps, would be utilized in executing the programmes.
General Manager of JADA Improvements Jeff Mager said members of his team had been chosen specifically because of their experience and abilities, from a clients’ needs perspective, rather than randomly grouping construction professionals together.
This way the team can better understand the project and have a more intimate relationship with the client to ensure the best quality results, he said.
Specially invited guests were treated to special tours of Port Ferdinand’s luxurious rooms and amenities, including water taxi shuttles. They were able to take in the relaxing settings of the new Sandbox Tree Spa and impressive games room where guests were able to try their swing using the golf simulator.
During the night the company also launched its new website and Facebook fan page.
