A superb knock of 107 not out from West Terrace captain Micaiah Simmons and an excellent five-wicket haul from medium-pacer Jaiden Merritt propelled the defending champions to a 204-run victory over Deacons Primary today.
Played at the Desmond Haynes ground in St James, West Terrace won the toss and posted 241 for one from their allotted 25 overs. In response Deacons were bowled out for 37 in 8.4 overs as seven of their batsmen failed to trouble the scorers.

Simmons’ knock included 14 fours and three sixes.
