After denying possession of a cellular phone, Barry Sylvester Coleman handed it up after police were called to look into the matter.
Coleman, a 33 year old labourer, lives at Mills Apartment, Haynesville, St James. The District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court heard that he works at a Christ Church construction site.
The complainant, who is Coleman’s boss, forgot his cellular phone on Tuesday. He asked his girlfriend to take it to Coleman at his place of work so he could collect it later.

The matter was reported to the police and the $1 000 item was recovered from Coleman who today pleaded guilty to the offence before Magistrate Douglas Frederick.
The first-time offender was ordered to perform 160 hours of community and will return to court on January 29.
