His dash to freedom was short lived yesterday and now Derrick Oneal Morris will have to call HMP Dodds home for the next month.
The 34-year-old man of Block 11A Factory Avenue, the Pine, St Michael was remanded to prison for 28 days by Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant when he appeared in the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court today.

He will appear in the District ‘E’ Magistrates Court on March 10, where he is charged with stealing $712 belonging to M W Almond Beach Resort, as well as stealing one motor car valued $7,500 belong to Kim Bispham on March 1, 2016.
Morris will also make an appearance in the District ‘B’ Magistrates Court on March 14 to answer a charge of loitering in Wotton Terrace with the intent to commit burglary on March 1.
Additionally, he has been charged with driving without due care and attention, driving without reasonable consideration, driving without a valid driver’s licence and driving without insurance on March 2, 2016.
