Hockey players off to Argentina

National men’s hockey coach Dominic Hill has succeeded in placing six of his top players with club’s in Argentia for a three month stint in the first instance.

Che Warner and Laurando Davis will be in Buenos Aires at the San Fernando Club, Paul Gill and Mario Moore will be in Cordoba at the University Club, while Che Roach and Akeem Rudder will be in Rosario at their University Club.

The Barbados Olympic Association assisted with this initiative and even indicated that they would have liked to send another six as soon as possible at the send-off for the young men held last night at Sagicor in Belleville. The players leave the island tomorrow.
