Nakira Goddard, the 25-year-old who was reported missing yesterday, has been found and is safe.
However, police say she is currently seeking medical attention, after she left home in the wee hours of yesterday morning, leaving her relatives worried that she could harm herself.
Goddard, of No 18 Lower Crescent, Gall Hill, Christ Church had left behind a note which left her family in despair.
When Barbados TODAY visited her home yesterday, older sister Nia Goddard, 27, said they were petrified when they read the message her hearing impaired sister left on the dining table.
“I am sorry, I am going to kill myself. No one knows where I went, only God knows. I love you. To all my brothers and sisters, I am sorry,” the elder sister quoted from the note as she struggled to hold back tears.
A distraught Nia said her sibling had been withdrawn recently, showing signs that something was bothering her.
