A serious bodily harm case against Peterson Alfredo Hobbs was dismissed for want of prosecution.
When Hobbs, 37, of Black Rock, St Michael, went before Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court today, the virtual complainant, Shananty Wickham explained that she was no longer interested in pursuing the matter.
“Sir, I am no longer going through with the case . . . for one, I have three children with him, ages two, six and eight . . . [and] I have decided to work on my family,” Wickham told the court under oath.
Hobbs, who was granted $5,000 bail, was accused of causing serious bodily harm to Wickham and occasioning her actual bodily harm on March 5, 2016.
