A St Michael man was today ordered to keep the peace for the remainder of the year.
Magistrate Douglas Frederick handed down the sentence to 38-year-old Adrian Chelston Walrond of Monroe Road, Haggatt Hall, who was charged with assaulting Velcia Greaves on May 3 this year.
“I have your presentencing report here and it does not look good,” Frederick, who is the presiding magistrate in the No 1 District “A” Court, told Walrond.
“You do not get community service twice and this is the second time that you have found yourself in trouble with the same complainant. I am placing you on a six months bond, if breached three months imprisonment,” the magistrate said.
