Thirty-eight-year-old Marston Owen Mascoll was jailed for one month Thursday for breaching a three-month bond imposed on him last month.
Magistrate Douglas Frederick had ordered Mascoll to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, or face a $300 fine that would have to be paid immediately.
When he returned before the same magistrate Thursday in the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court, the man pleaded guilty to having apparatus fit for use in connection with cocaine.
As a result, the fine was imposed and since Mascoll was unable to pay it, he was sent to prison for a month.
Additionally, Mascoll, of no fixed place of abode, was slapped with an additional three-month sentence for Thursday’s offence. The two terms will run concurrently.
