A tropical wave is affecting the island.
The Barbados Meteorological Service says it will be partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy with some scattered showers and the chance of isolated thunderstorms.
please GOD let the heavens open and send the rains, we so badly need it in Jesus name
We really do. God knows when it’s time for the rain. He also knows when to provide lots of sun . As a matter of fact he knows everything, he sees everything ,he hears and listens to everything no matter how minor it might appear to us. He often test us ,but never give us more than we deserve.
Enjoy the rain ,because when it is all said and done it will be time to harvest.
Please God, Bobo The Clown saya you know when it’s time to give us rain, and Sun, and that you know everything, You listen and hear everything and you see everything. I am asking you God, to look, listen and hear Barbadians are suffering. and please give us a new government> Bobo can you please ask God for that too?
If that strong tropical wave currently to the east south east of Bdos develops further we might be in line for more than showers as the pundits at the Hurricane Centre in Miami have it to right on our doorsteps.
The closer that cyclonic weather is to the island the better off Barbados becomes. That weather pattern needs time to absorb energy from the warmer Caribbean sea current so sit back and enjoy some earth quenching moderate rainfall which will be good for cane plant first year; yams, potatoes, eddoes and fodder grass for the cows. I did not mention those butter-stick cassavas but they too shall be happy to have such a quenching. I will now disseminate the N A S A and NOAA prognosis charts and have a better point of view.
Tropical waves developing in that precise location can be significant to the island but distance from Barbados is overly important to the severity of precipitation distributed to the island. If this wave is slow and broadens in its path then high distribution of rain fall could be expect to torrential rains but if moving at a more normal speed of say 16 thru 24 M.P.H we could expect a good earth soaking which would be beneficial to the farmers and livestock
