More than five years after being accused of robbing a man, Rashad Rudolph Hoyte walked out of the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court without the charge over his head.
Hoyte, of Barker’s Road, Haggatt Hall, St Michael was accused of stealing a cellular phone valued $1,750, a bracelet valued $1,500, a bangle worth $1,500, two chains worth $4,250, a $100 pendant, a $300 ring and $1,500 in cash on April 25, 2011.
The items belonged to Callam Barnard.
When the case came up before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant today, the prosecution said it still did not have a file.
