It was a case of four times unlucky for Shalom Shem Batson when he appeared before a Bridgetown magistrate today.
After getting bail three times from two courts, the 19-year-old resident of Laynes Road, Brittons Hill, St Michael was remanded to HMP Dodds by Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant when he showed up before her charged with theft and drug possession.
He admitted to stealing an Amazon Fire mobile phone and an Amazon tablet, each worth $400 and belonging to Charla Adams, on August 14 this year.
Batson also pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis.
He was remanded until November 4 when the facts of the case will be revealed and the sentence imposed.
