Yellow House splashed their way to victory and in the process dethroned Blue House when the Queen’s College Inter-house Swimming Championship was held Tuesday at the Barbados Aquatic Centre.
Former champions Blue House with 409 points fell short by 24 points to Yellow House’s 433 while Red House with 291 were third. Orange House placed fourth with 214 points, Green House tallied 188 and Purple House finished on 165.

Joint victrix ludorum Tijuana Welch finished the day undefeated with a total of 60 points for Yellow House in the girls’ age 12 and under category. Chara Hinds of Blue House also tallied 60 points as she dominated the girls’ 13 and 14 division.

Reanna James was the best female swimmer in the girls’ age 15 and over category for Yellow House with 40 points.
Green House had something to celebrate in victor ludorum Niel Skinner who collected 60 points when the boys 13 and 14 age group completed their stint in the pool.

Christopher Pollard representing Red House just missed out on the victor ludorum title by just four points after finishing the day with 56.

Yellow House also had a good outing in the boys 15 and over through Darian Trotman who tallied 50 points.
