“I will kill you and cut up you body and discard the body parts in a bag and a box.”
Those are the threatening words which Tshedi Christopher Trotz, a 39-year-old labourer of Ruby, St Philip is accused of using towards his wife Alison Trotz on April 4, 2016.
The charge adds that the words were intended to cause his wife to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used against her. But the husband informed the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court that he said no such words. He was placed on $5,000 bail and ordered to return to court on March 17, 2017.
He is also charged with trespassing on his mother’s premises on September 17, 2016. That matter was adjourned until Thursday at the District ‘C’ Magistrates’ Court. However, his mother is expected to drop that charge.
