Police are investigating a shooting which occurred this morning at Tudor Street, Bridgetown, St Michael in which one St Michael man sustained several injuries to his chest.
According to police, 19-year-old Shamar Victor Corbin of Bush Hall, St Michael boarded minibus registration number B43 at about 10:00 a.m. in the Tudor Street area, and two men subsequently boarded the same bus and shot him multiple times in his chest.
Corbin was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance where his condition is listed as critical.

Lets be logical! The B-43 bus is operated on a designated route! The bus has an operator- (driver) and a conductor I suppose. Now there is a passenger whom the driver picks up. The driver should have been alert to the pedestrians and traffic along the route. So did the shooter follow in an other vehicle and ambush the injured man from the rear of the bus? That is the logic that has to be proven.

Gun crime on this once peaceful island is becoming a major problem.This issue with guns has to be eradicated before it is too late. This problem can have a serious effect on the tourist industry if it is not nipped in the bud. Tourists will not feel safe on the island things get out of control.
