An unemployed man from Bartlett’s Tenantry, Sargeant’s Village, Christ Church has been remanded to jail for the next 28 days on five serious charges.
Rodney Junior Romario Rogers, 22, is accused of having in his possession an unlicensed firearm and ammunition on March 3.
He was not required to plea to those two offences, which allegedly occurred in the District ‘A’ jurisdiction, when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Christopher Birch Tuesday.
Rogers is also charged with wounding Jabarry Gamble and Rahieem Farnum with intent to maim, disfigure or disable them, on May 5, 2016 in the District ‘B’ jurisdiction,.
He was also charged that he and other persons used unlawful violence towards Gamble, and their conduct taken together was such that it caused Farnum to fear for Gamble’s safety.
Rogers was not required to plea to either of those latter charges either.
He makes his second appearance in court on April 4.
