Two teenagers were granted bail after appearing in a Bridgetown court on separate sexual offence charges.
Justin Tremaine Bourne of Cummins Road, Brittons Hill, St Michael is accused of indecently assaulting a female on April 10.
The 18-year-old porter was not required to plea to the indictable charge when he appeared before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court earlier today.
With no objection from the police prosecutor, he was released on $4,000 bail, which he secured with one surety.
However, as part of his bail, he must report to the Hastings Police Station every Monday and Thursday before 3 p.m. with valid identification.
Bourne is scheduled to return to the No. 2 Magistrates’ Court on July 17.
Also due to appear before Magistrate Cuffy-Sargeant on that date is Tre Terique Sandiford, of Block 3 Apartment 203, Grotto Woods, Corner of Dalkeith and Beckles Road, St Michael.
The unemployed 17-year-old is accused of having sexual intercourse with a female without her consent, knowing she did not consent to the intercourse, on March 10.
Sandiford was also not allowed to plead to that indictable charge.
He was granted $4,000 bail which he secured with one surety but that came with several conditions. The accused teen has to adhere to a daily 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew and report to the Hastings Police Station every Saturday before noon with valid identification.
