A 20-year-old was released from HMP Dodds yesterday on $10,000 bail.
Shamar Shaquane Erwin Inniss of 1st Avenue, Prescod Bottom, Hindsbury Road, St Michael is accused of unlawfully and maliciously wounding Rouel Bostic on April 1 and Christopher Massiah on April 18.
The accused man, who is unrepresented by an attorney-at-law, has denied the charges. He returns to court on July 19.
In another case before the same magistrate, a 36-year-old man denied destroying cricket gear and equipment belonging to Tristan Small.
It is alleged that Shawn Anderson Foster of #16 Lawrence Avenue, Bayville, St Michael destroyed Small’s cricket bag, a pair of wicket keeper gloves, two cricket pads, a pair of cricket shoes, a pair of battling gloves and a cricket helmet, sometime between October 8 and 10, 2016, without lawful excuse.
There was no objection to bail from the prosecutor, Sergeant Cameron Gibbons, who simply requested that the accused stay away from the complainant who works with him.
Foster was released on $2,000 bail. He returns to court on July 21.
