A third man alleged to have been involved in the murder of Michael Omar Edwards earlier this year, was remanded to HMP Dodds Thursday.
Jason Ainsley Wilson, a 35-year-old proprietor of #58 Wildey Gardens, St Michael, appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court, but was not required to plead to the indictable charge.
Edwards died at his Bartlett Tenantry, Sargeant’s Village, Christ Church home on February 2 after he was shot multiple times by intruders.
Two other men are already on remand for the killing: 28-year-old Kamar Glenville Stoute of Block 3E, Bottom Close, Wildey, St Michael; and 26-year-old Livardo Rogelio Hinds, of Durants, Lodge Road, Christ Church.
Wilson, who was represented by attorneys-at-law Arthur Holder, Shadia Simpson and Danielle Mottley, returns to court on July 25.
His case was transferred to the No. 2 District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant who is presiding over the case of Wilson’s co-accused.
