A Deacons Farm, St Michael man was Tuesday warned to keep his anger under control when dealing with his daughter’s mother.
Thirty-two year-old Kedar Ondre Holloway of Block 2D appeared Tuesday morning before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant charged with unlawfully assaulting Shontelle Farrell on July 9, 2017.
Holloway pleaded guilty to the offence but stated that he was pushed first by the complainant before he pushed her in the chest.
In handing down a three-month suspended sentence to Holloway, Cuffy-Sargeant reminded him that he had other serious matters before the court, while stressing the need for anger management.
“A man walks away Mr Holloway. You know you get upset, a man would have allowed someone else to deal with Miss Farrell, not confront and push Miss Farrell because you know your record.
“You know you have other matters pending in this court, very serious matters too. You know you have been given several chances, so there is no sense coming before me with a new charge, even if it is a minor one,” Cuffy-Sargeant warned.
