A St Michael couple was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison Dodds on ammunition charges today.
Shamar Recardo James and Shanon Alexandrea Clarke of Murphy’s Pasture, Chapman Lane appeared before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant in the No. 2 District ‘A’ Criminal Court this morning, jointly charged with possession of two rounds of ammunition without a permit on July 12.
Both pleaded not guilty to the charge.
However, James was additionally charged with four other serious offences. It is alleged that on the same date, he was in possession of cannabis, possession with intent to supply, and trafficking the controlled drug.
He was also charged with money laundering. It is alleged that he had in his possession, $12,000, the proceeds of criminal activity.
James pleaded not guilty to all charges and the couple was remanded until August 11.
