Two men were today granted bail after appearing before Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court, charged with separate offences.
It is alleged that Jamar Omar Layne of Clevedale Road, Black Rock, St Michael assaulted Raymond Addison on October 11 and also damaged his motor car.
The 29-year-old technician, who is being represented by attorney-at-law Mohia Ma’at, denied both charges and was released on $3,000 bail with one surety. Layne returns to court on February 22 next year.
Also appearing in District ‘A’ today was Carlos Andre Marshall of Porey Spring, St Thomas.
The 35-year-old is accused of stealing $900 in cash belonging to Sophia Rudder sometime between October 1 and 30, 2014.
He was granted $2, 000 bail after denying the allegation.
