A pre sentencing report has been ordered into the life of a 21-year-old man who today pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis.
Raschad Justin Bowen, of Gilkes Road, Fairfield Cross Road, St Michael, had the illegal substance in his possession yesterday.
Police on patrol along Grazettes Road, St Michael had reason to stop Bowen, who reportedly pushed his hand in his pocket and dropped a wrapping at his feet.
Asked to account for the package, he said: “It is my weed.”
There was no objection to bail when he appeared before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sergeant.
However, Bowen, who was released on a $1,500 surety to return to court on December 14, must adhere to a 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew.
